Our craft
Lumixy lamps are produced with fused-deposition 3D printing on precision Bambu Lab machines. Instead of cutting material away or molding it in a factory, the printer builds each lamp layer by layer from a fine filament of molten PLA — which is how we achieve shapes that traditional manufacturing simply can't.
Printing on demand means we make your lamp after you order it — so there's no overproduction, minimal waste, and the ability to offer designs in multiple finishes without holding huge inventory. It also keeps our prices honest: you're paying for the design and the craft, not a warehouse.
Each layer leaves a fine line in the surface. Together those lines create the soft, ribbed texture that defines a Lumixy lamp and diffuses light into a gentle, even glow. It's a finish that's only possible with additive manufacturing — and it makes every piece subtly unique.
Every lamp is printed, inspected, and assembled by hand before it ships. If anything isn't right, it doesn't go out the door.
